When the state of Wisconsin mandated that companies employing road construction crews create a formal training program to prepare their Flaggers to take the state certification, our client, an energy company decided to take their instructor-led training online to reach a broader audience in a shorter amount of time.

How We Helped

Working with the course instructor to streamline the existing PowerPoint-based course content, Griotitude created an e-learning module with a single purpose –to prepare workers to take a certification exam.

With a condensed timeline and tight budget, we leveraged some of Articulate Storyline’s existing templates and tools to add knowledge checks, click-to-reveals, and drag-and-drop interactions to help make the experience more interactive and engaging for workers. We repurposed imagery from the classroom PPT to save money on graphics, making only necessary changes to improve quality.

The completed module guided workers through the material in a sequence that mirrored their job tasks; it included real-world examples and occasional challenges, effectively preparing them for the certification exam.
